Leo & the Root Chakra

Leo is ruled by the Sun and governed by Fire — the sign of creative self-expression, leadership, and the need to be seen and celebrated. The root chakra is not Leo's natural home: Muladhara is concerned with the anonymous, primal conditions of existence (am I safe? do I belong? is there enough?), while Leo is concerned with the radiant particular (am I seen? am I special? does my presence matter?).
